Meet THE Owner: Chuck Kurt
Education
and integrity may best describe the foundation which our business was
built when Chuck Kurt, President of Kurt’s Auto & Truck center, Inc., open
its doors in 1974. During the past thirty years, Chuck has continued to
prove this. It shows in the way he cares for his customers and their needs
and in the pride he takes in his staff while keeping them informed and on
the leading edge of the latest technologies in car, truck, and motorhome
repair.
Chuck holds a Master’s Degree of Science in Education and before opening
this business, had a wealth of experience in the field already. He spent
five years working at a service station, worked for two years as a service
technician for G.M. dealerships, two years as a mechanical engineer and
four years as a nuclear weapons technician in the U.S. Air Force. Chuck, a
state certified vocational school instructor, also taught automotive
technology at the Rockford Area Career Center for five years. He has also
been an ASE certified Master Automobile Technician since 1974. Chuck’s
interests include spending time with his family and watching his
granddaughters grow. When Chuck finds time to relax he enjoys going to his
cottage on Green Lake in Wisconsin where he enjoys boating and the peace
of the lake.
